A SUNDAY TRIO AT BENDIGO

A trio of runners at Bendigo today with Crimmo, General Firepower and Order To Charge in consecutive races.

Order To Charge is the first to go in race four over 1300 metres with Daniel Stackhouse riding.

“I’ve put blinkers back on as he did not concentrate at all last start at Sandown with the winner of that race winning again at Caulfield yesterday,” Mike said.

“He looks really well, has worked well and he only has six to beat now after scratchings.

“If he can apply himself then I really do think he will prove hard to beat.”

There are also several scratchings in the fifth race for General Firepower over 1400 metres under Jordan Childs.

“This looks the right race for him and the scratchings have helped,” Mike said.

“He should be able to dictate from the inside draw, he’s in good order and after two solid runs this preparation he looks ready to win.”

Crimmo (pictured) is in the sixth race over 1600 metres with Daniel Stackhouse in the saddle.

“He’s second up today with an awkward draw but we are happy with him,” Mike said.

“I think he will be better over a touch further but at this stage of his preparation he should be fine.

“Scratchings have reduced the opposition and with ordinary luck I think he is a winning chance.”
