Busy at Bendigo.

The New Zealand stables were in great form on Saturday and we are hoping to follow suit at Bendigo on Sunday - heading to a meeting where the racing world's eyes will be on Black Caviar's debutant half-sister Belle Couture - with four nice chances.

The first of our quartet is Say My Name who lines up for his second start in the BJC Members Celebration SV 2YO Maiden Plate over 900m.

The only horse in the ten strong field to have raced before, Say My Name tackled Listed company at Flemington back in early October - finishing tenth after racing greenly.

"He just wouldn't concentrate," Moroney recalled, adding that the son of Onemorenomore has since been gelded.

"His jump-outs all the way through have been good," he said, "and he does have experience on his side against all the unraced horses."

Well regarded by the stable, Say My Name has drawn nicely in barrier five for in-form jockey Ryan Maloney.

Over to race six and we have Present Arms (pictured) representing us in the BJC Hottest Ticket in Town Showcase BM70 Handicap over 1600m.

Also to be partnered by Maloney, the lightly raced Zabeel four-year-old was a solid third when resuming at Kilmore earlier in the month and he will appreciate a step up in distance.

"He looks terrific," Moroney enthused - "he has gotten considerably stronger, even more so than what I was expecting during his spell."

"He has thrived sine his good first up run, training on really well. He should prove hard to beat."

Lining up in the following event, the Kookas Capers In The Addy BM70 Handicap, is Malan who has drawn out but who has the services of talented young rider Patrick Moloney.

Having his first start since late September, the promising Not A Single Doubt gelding is another horse to have progressed nicely during a break.

"He is the strongest he has ever looked," Moroney said, adding that the honest performer is "always competitive."

A two times winner and five times runner up from ten starts, Malan tackles a handy race but is expected to figure in the thick of things.

Our final Bendigo runner is Glove Man who contests the Christmas Carols in the Park 2nite Showcase with Ryan Maloney aboard.

Looking good breaking his maiden two starts ago, the son of Keeper was good rising in grade last time out and has, according to Moroney "trained on well."

"He got left in front a bit too soon last time and that is not really his style - and he was beaten by a reasonable horse. This is again a decent field but the rise in distance will suit him - the further he gets over the better he'll be."
