In the winners circle at our home track? We hope so!

Tomorrow at Matamata we have two good chances to be in the winners circle.

The first of our runners is Double Take. She will take her place at the starting gates in race four with Craig Grylls aboard. From gate 8 we hope to see the pair jump and roll into a forward position before finding the line strongly.

Andrew said " If Double Take is able to race up to her last start at Te Rapa she should be a real chance. She's an honest mare that has been injury plagued but has ability."

" We would love to get a win for her owners as Hugh and Ned Fletcher have been very patient with her ."

Savvy Dancer (pictured thinking about tomorrows assignment) is our second runner and will hopefully end the day on a good note. Savvy is entered in the Sensortronic Scale Enterprise 1200m race, which is race five on the card.

Andrew reports" Savvy has been one of our most unlucky horses as he has been primed to win twice now (at Rotorua and Counties) but the race meetings have both been canceled.

Tomorrow the track will more than likely be rated as a heavy 11 "which will suit Savvy as he is a true wet tracker who has ability and is a horse that digs deep. So I really think he will be tough to beat".
