A busy two state weekend kicks off with two runners at Sandown, well bred two-year-old Revidere our first runner on Saturday.

A $200,000 Easter yearling selected by Paul Moroney, the daughter of Redoute's Choice and the dual stakes winning Zabeel mare Zalinda is a full sister to the Gr.3 sprinter Fast 'N' Famous who stands at stud in NZ.

"She is a nice filly," Michael Moroney said, "but it looks a pretty strong race with some youngsters who look like they could prove competitive in the spring.:

In-form mare Shylock's Daughter is the second of our Melbourne runners, the six-year-old lining up for a hat-trick of city wins.

"She takes on the boys this time but she in well at the weights and going so well."

A more hectic day at Eagle Farm with four runners, the first of those the talented import Glass Harmonium who takes his place in the Gr.2 Eagle Farm Cup.

Game in the weight-for-age placings at his first two Australian runs, the eye-catching grey will be ridden for the first time by Lisa Cropp who has been riding in stellar form of late.

"Our only concern is that we are still learning about him," Moroney said, "but we are very happy with him and he should prove hard to beat."

Taking on some smart ones in the Listed Spear Chief Handicap, the promising Born To Rock is up in class off a five length Ipswich victory at her first Australia run - but our hand was forced by ballots in easier races.

"She wasn't making the fields in lesser races so we have decided to have a go. She is down in weight and she has a good draw - she is an interesting runner."

As is the well named Flashy Fella who also lines up for his second Australian start - contesting the Gr.2 Sires' Produce Stakes after an eye-catching third at the Gold Coast.

"The leaders got six lengths on him there but he ran them to 1.5," Moroney said. "I don't think there is a lot of depth to these two-year-olds so he could be the surprise packet."

King Pulse is the last of our Eagle Farm runners, lining up in the Gr.2 QTC Cup - and a bold showing is expected.

"This is the first time since his injury that we've gone into a race happy with him. We will be disappointed if he doesn't get near his best."

We have three nice runners at Kilmore on Saturday as well, starting with debutant Caligula Kid in the opening event.

Purchased at Easter for $55,000 by Paul Moroney, the son of Holy Roman Emperor is a half brother to the three times Gr.3 winning mare Judged.

"He doesn't have the best of barriers but he is a nice horse who shows a bit of speed," Moroney said.

A close up fourth first up at Mornington recently, Starcraft filly Sirrah looks nicely placed to break through - "she should win her maiden pretty quickly and this is the first time we've had here at the races happy with her fitness level."

Also second up in a suitable maiden is Victoria Belle, a Zabeel filly suited by a step up in distance.

"She has been a very slow maturer but she is starting to get stronger and she is getting up to her right distances now - she should start to showing something from now on."
