Living Dangerously and King Landon are our Thursday runners when they travel to Sale.

Living Dangerously is the first to go in race two, the 4YO and up Maiden Plate over 1110m. Michael Dee rides and Mike Moroney said the daughter of Wanted is close to a win.

“Her last two starts have been good,” Moroney said. “She led two starts back over 1400m on a heavy track when finishing third and last start she was also on the speed before finishing fourth over 1411m.

“She’s fitter now and better for the experience. She’s drawn nicely here in five and back in trip we might not need to be as aggressive with her.

“It looks a handy enough Maiden without going overboard and she’s drawn to get the right run so she gets her chance.”

King Landon races for the third time this preparation in race four, the Maiden Plate over 1623m with Luke Currie to ride.

The son of Testa Rossa made up some ground in the home straight tast time out when sixth over 1400m at Echuca.

“He’s trained on well since his last start and he looks ready to do himself justice,” Moroney said.

“He rode the speed first-up when he was third at Bendigo than got back last start so somewhere in between today should be ideal.

“He’s drawn in the middle of the field so Luke should be able to find a nice spot and this looks a good chance for him to break his maiden.

“The track is listed as soft and he hasn’t raced on anything worse but all things being equal I’m expecting him to run well.”
