TWO CHANCES AT BALLARAT ON WEDNESDAY

Game Has Changed and Louisville Lip are our runners on Wednesday when they travel to Ballarat.

Game Has Changed runs in race three, the 3YO Maiden Plate over 1600m with Patrick Moloney to ride from barrier three while Louisville Lip runs in race seven, the Benchmark 64 Handicap over 1400m with Kentaro Usui to ride from barrier six.

Game Has Changed pleased Mike Moroney with his debut effort over 1600m at Bendigo last month.

“I thought his first run was good and h’d fitter for this race,” Moroney said

“He’s got good speed so we’ll try and take advantage of the good draw.

“I think he’s improved from his first start and while he should be better over further I think he has enough speed to win over 1600m.

“It looks an even sort of race and a big field so as long as he runs well I’ll be happy.’

Louisville Lip (pictured) is first-up this campaign and won his maiden at Bendigo last preparation.

The four-year-old son of Ocean Park has prepped with some jumpouts at Flemington.

“We’re going to use Kentaro as he’s ridden him in some gallops and his jumpouts,” Moroney said.

“The distance doesn’t really suit but this is a good starting point for the horse and while I doubt he’s a winning chance at the distance I do think he’s capable of running a cheeky race.

“He’s a stronger horse this time around and I’m looking forward to a good campaign with him.
