We kick off at Rosehill Gardens on a Soft 6 Track with Vandancer (pictured) jumping from barrier 4 in the McGrath Estate Agents Handicap (1900m) with Brock Ryan aboard.

Nice draw and will appreciate the give in the ground. Heavy in the weights but claiming with Ryan. Plenty of winning form in the race but the competition has come down in class, while we go up in class. Couldn’t be happier with her, has a lot going her way and is a good each way chance.

Araldo Junior jumps from barrier 8 in the Listed ATC Winter Cup (2400m) with Jay Ford aboard.

Stepping up over ground which will suit, as will conditions. Strikes an even field and comes off a good last run. Has trained on well, has plenty going his way and is an each way chance.

Up at the Sunshine Coast on Soft 5 track, Yesterday’s Songs jumps from barrier 1 in the HMR Projects Glasshouse Handicap (1400m) with Larry Cassidy aboard.

Can’t fault his lead-up work. Ideal distance and conditions. Not so much an ideal draw for him so will need some luck from there. A very winnable race for him and with that luck in running, he is a real winning chance.

Mia Rosa jumps from barrier 8 in the Group 3 XXXX Sunshine Coast Guineas 3YO (1600m) with Paul Hammersley aboard.

Has freshened up well as she now looks for black type. Couldn’t be happier with her leading into the race. Conditions will suit, strikes a big strong, field but with luck in running is a good chance.

Radipole rounds the day off when he lines up in the Quayclean Handicap (1800m) with Brian Higgins aboard jumping from barrier 2 on a Good 4 track.

Drawn to get a lovely run and getting up towards his right trip here. Rain would help but couldn’t be happier with him and has plenty going his way. He’s the type of galloper we expect to see put himself right in the race and take bad luck out of the equation. Very good each way chance.
